Hotel Sarotla

Hotel is directly at the 1st Tee of a challenging but spectacular mountain golf course. Rooms are new, clean and have a comfortable size. The food is excellent. The chef caters to individual requests (vegan, lactose intolerance, etc.). The hotel offers wellness facilities. The staff is polite and well trained. They know how to make their customers happy. We spent a great time at the hotel, the golf course and the surrounding mountains.

+ The room views are great. The Dorfbahn is just across the street which makes it very convenient for reaching the ski area The Hotel SPA area looks really good and is well maintained. - Access for kids in Family SPA area is possible only until 6pm which makes it not convenient if you ski until 4:30-5pm. We were not informed before arriving about this rule. The SPA area was very crowded in the period when families with kids were allowed. We had the big family suite that appeared to be refurbished just two months before. Therefore we had no signs in the Hotel to get to it. We explained to the kids that we are undercover and that’s why there are no markings for our room :) Our room was not very well cleaned so we had to call them twice (bed linen ripped, dust and drapes dirty). I had the general feeling that the cleaning can be improved in the room and restaurant. Heating system didn’t work and we had to insist until they discovered the floor heating water was stopped somehow.

Great place if ur into ski and snow. Excellent rooms and amazing nature all around. But, house keeping wasnt upto expectations. They had to be reminded to replace toiletries every day. Restaurant is comfy and serve fresh food from their limited menu. Spa and pool definitely above average. Be mindful if the fact that if u want to iron ur clothes, then I'll need to go into a separate room in the basement!!
